02 / YOUR TIME, AT A GLANCE
Watching estimates allow you to pause mid-video. Ads, breaks and note-taking are extra.
FROM PLAYLIST TO PLAN

See the total duration, adjust playback speed, or calculate just the videos you have left.
Set a daily watching budget and see how many watching days you will need.
MORE THAN A SINGLE NUMBER
Start with the total. Keep going with the details that make it useful.
Compare up to five playlists or individual videos. Duplicate links are counted once, and each input keeps its own result or error.
Choose original videos 12–24, or start after the last video you finished. Missing entries keep their place in the numbering.
Compare 1× through 2× at a glance or choose a custom speed from 0.25× to 4×. See both watch time and time saved.
Pick a start date and watching weekdays. Get a daily schedule with resume timestamps, or check the daily time needed for a deadline.
Search titles, narrow by channel or duration, and sort from shortest to longest. The original YouTube order remains available.
Export the displayed video table to CSV or Excel, copy its links, and download a dated watching schedule.
Mark individual entries as watched. Save progress and calculation settings on this device when you choose to.
See unavailable entries, data timestamps and partial-result warnings. Continue loading another segment of a large playlist.
SAME CONTENT. YOUR PACE.
Divide the original duration by playback speed. For example, six hours at 1.5× takes four hours: two hours less watching time.

Rounded once to the nearest second. The calculator uses unrounded time when estimating watching days.
A PLACE FOR IT IN REAL LIFE
Use the same playlist data for a course, a commute, a classroom or an evening in.
LEARNING
A course contains 18 hours of videos. At 1.5×, that is 12 hours of watching. With 45 minutes available each day, allow 16 watching days, plus time for exercises.
Build a study schedule ↗LISTENING
Check whether a YouTube Music playlist fills your commute, workout or event. Use 1× for its listening length, and inspect any unavailable tracks before relying on the total.
Check a music playlist ↗A DEADLINE
Select the lectures you still need, then choose the days you can watch. A finish-by target shows the required minutes on those days, including when the target needs more time than a day allows.
Work back from a date ↗PICKING UP
If you finished video 30, select Remaining and enter 30 to start at 31. If you stopped at the start of 30, include the current video. A missing video still occupies its original number.
Calculate the time left ↗TEACHING
Choose the exact videos assigned to a class. Export the list with titles, source seconds and links so your estimate and the assignment refer to the same content.

Filter to videos under your available minutes and sort the current view by duration. Its subtotal shows just the matching entries, while the main result keeps your selected original range.
Explore and sort videos ↗KNOW WHAT THE NUMBERS MEAN
sum of counted video secondssource seconds ÷ playback speedround up(time ÷ daily budget)We retrieve the ordered playlist entries, request their video durations, and match metadata by video ID. When the same video appears twice in a playlist, both appearances count. Missing videos stay in their original positions.
The main result covers the selected original range. A filtered table has a separate subtotal. A dated schedule follows unwatched entries in original order and respects the chosen daily budget. None of these numbers includes advertising, breaks or note-taking.
Data comes from the YouTube Data API. A result may be cached, incomplete, or contain unavailable durations; those states are shown alongside the total.

Paste its link and press Calculate length. We retrieve playlist entries and the durations YouTube makes available, then add the counted video seconds. The result shows total time, counts and when the data was fetched.
Use YouTube playlist links, YouTube Music playlist links, a supported playlist ID, or individual watch, youtu.be, Shorts and live-video links. When a video link also has a list parameter, we calculate that playlist. Current live streams do not have a final watch time.
Accessible YouTube Music playlists use the same calculator. Standard and Music links with the same playlist ID are recognized as duplicates. A music playlist is still subject to unavailable-track and access limitations.
Yes. Paste up to five links, one per line. Each input has its own result, and the combined total includes only counted data. If any input is incomplete or fails, the combined total is labelled accordingly.
Open Range & remaining time and choose A specific range. Both the start and end video are included. Numbers always refer to the original YouTube positions, even after you sort the displayed table.
Choose What I have left and enter the last video you finished. By default, calculation starts with the next one. Include that video if you still need to watch it. You can also mark individual entries as watched in video details.
Yes. Results include a common-speed comparison and a custom control from 0.25× to 4×. Adjusted time is source duration divided by speed. Changing the speed uses loaded data and does not request the playlist again.
An entry without a usable duration keeps its original position and is excluded from the time total. Where YouTube provides enough information, we distinguish live, upcoming, unavailable and not-yet-loaded states. An unavailable duration is not counted as an ordinary zero-second video.
An accessible unlisted playlist can be calculated using its link. Private playlists, Watch Later, Liked videos and personalized Mixes need account access and are not supported. Unlisted results are not placed in the shared playlist-result cache.
Each request loads up to 1,000 entries, with a time limit to keep the request bounded. When a valid next segment is available, use Load next segment. Keep the page open: continuation references expire after 15 minutes or a server restart. Partial totals are labelled.
Set your minutes per day and playback speed, then choose a start date and watching weekdays. The schedule allocates unwatched, counted videos in original order. Long videos can span days, and each segment includes source timestamps. Ads, breaks, notes and exercises need extra time.
No. Sorting, search and duration filters change the table in this tool. Original numbers remain visible, and the main range and schedule keep their original order. The filtered table has its own subtotal and export.
Open video details to export the current filtered view as CSV or an Excel workbook with clickable video links. The file includes source seconds, displayed duration, availability and original position. The dated schedule has a separate CSV export.
Save playlist keeps its link and calculation settings in this browser. Save progress stores the entries you marked as watched on this device. Share settings copies a link that restores the source, range, speed and daily budget; the recipient presses Calculate for fresh data.
Playlists and video availability can change. Public results may be cached for up to one hour. Different tools may skip missing entries, round seconds, stop at different limits, or use different daily planning rules. Check coverage and the fetched time before comparing totals.
Check the link and its visibility, then use Try again on the failed result. Successful results stay on the page. If the shared request budget is exhausted, recently cached results may remain available; the budget resets at midnight Pacific Time.
Paste a link to find the total, then make it fit your day.
