ABOUT THE TOOL
Know the time.
Make your plan.
PlaylistLengths helps you see how much time a playlist needs before you start watching. It is designed for courses, collections of talks, and anything you want to fit into your day.
Clear totals
We calculate from video durations supplied by YouTube. Unavailable entries keep their original positions and are excluded from the total with an explanation. A limited or interrupted result is shown as partial.
Practical estimates
Playback speed and daily watching estimates are calculated from the available durations. They allow mid-video pauses and do not include advertisements, breaks, or note-taking.
From a total to a useful plan
Open the video details to compare durations, filter a long collection or export the rows you need. Mark finished entries, choose the days you can watch and split longer videos across a daily budget. The original playlist order remains the basis of ranges and schedules.
Your browser, your choice
Public calculations work without an account. Links, calculation settings and watched progress stay on this device only when you choose to save them. You can remove saved items or clear the tool’s browser data from the privacy page. Sharing a settings link includes the source URL, so share only links you are comfortable passing on.
Help and feedback
Our guides explain the calculation rules with examples, including unavailable videos and partial results. Use Contact & feedback to prepare a report about a problem or an idea for improvement.
Current version
This is version 0.2, currently in local preview. Public deployment and operator contact details are being prepared. PlaylistLengths is independent and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
