What is requested
When you press Calculate, a source link and calculation settings are sent to our server. We use YouTube API Services to request playlist and video metadata. Viewing the homepage or changing settings on loaded results does not request playlist data from YouTube.
Temporary server data
Public playlist metadata is temporarily stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database for up to one hour. Public segments with a continuation expire sooner. Unlisted playlist results are not retained in that result cache. Continuation references contain a playlist ID, page token and next position for up to 15 minutes, allowing you to request the next segment. They are not public share pages. Expired data is not used and is removed by an hourly cleanup; database recovery history may retain it for an additional day.
Usage counters record the date and number of upstream requests, without playlist links or video titles, for up to 32 days. Rate limiting uses a keyed hash of your connection address, valid for one minute and removed by hourly cleanup. Vercel hosts the website and may process request metadata such as your IP address, request path and timing in its infrastructure logs. We do not intentionally log submitted playlist links, video titles or API credentials. See the Vercel Privacy Policyand Neon Privacy Policy.
Data saved on your device
Inputs and results remain in the current page while it is open. Save playlist stores up to 20 source links and calculation settings in this browser. Save progress stores the original entries you marked as watched. These actions are optional and do not sync with YouTube or another device. Theme preference is also stored locally when you change it.
Remove a saved item beside the input to delete its link and settings. Clear saved progress removes progress for that playlist. The button below deletes all PlaylistLengths saved calculations, progress and theme preference on this browser, without touching data from other websites.
Thumbnails and outside links
Opening video details may load thumbnails from YouTube’s image servers, which receive the usual connection information such as your IP address. Thumbnail viewing does the same when you request it. Video links open on YouTube. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Exports, sharing and feedback
Files are generated in your browser from loaded data. A settings link includes the source URL, range, speed and daily budget, so anyone with that link can read those settings. It does not include watched marks or create a public result record on our server.
Feedback reports are prepared on your page. Copying or downloading a report does not send it. If an email contact is configured, Open email app prepares a message with your email provider; you decide whether to send it. Playlist links are only included when you enter them in the report.
Accounts and tracking
This website has no account system, advertising or analytics trackers. It does not ask for your YouTube password or request access to private playlists or account history. For questions, see Contact & Feedback.
