Sort, filter and export playlist details

Create a useful CSV or Excel file while keeping durations, source positions and missing data explicit.

Updated September 8, 2026 · PlaylistLengths product guide

Choose the table you want to keep

Calculate the playlist, then open video details. Search titles or channels, select one channel, set duration bounds, or show only entries you have marked as watched. Press Apply filters to update the view.

An empty maximum duration means no maximum. If you set 60 minutes, videos longer than one hour are excluded from this table. Entries without durations cannot satisfy a numeric duration filter.

Keep ordering and totals separate

Sort this view changes the table, including the order in its export. Original position remains a separate column. A filtered subtotal describes only the displayed entries; the main playlist result still describes the chosen original range.

Shuffle this view changes the local order, and Copy video links follows that displayed order. None of these actions edits your source playlist on YouTube. Reset view restores the original table.

Choose a file format

CSV is a plain-text table suitable for spreadsheet programs and other tools. Excel creates a workbook with a frozen header, filters and clickable YouTube links. Both include original position, title, channel, numeric source seconds, readable durations, availability and watched state.

Missing durations stay blank. A partial export is labelled partial in its metadata. Exporting what is available does not imply the rest of the playlist has been retrieved.

  1. Set the original range in the calculator.
  2. Apply any table filters and sorting.
  3. Choose CSV or Excel under Export this view.
  4. Check the file’s scope and coverage rows before using the data.

Save and share deliberately

Save playlist keeps a source link and calculation settings on this device. It does not create an online account or sync across browsers. Share settings creates a link that another person can load and calculate.

Anyone receiving a shared settings link can see its source playlist URL, including an unlisted URL. Choose your recipients accordingly. Watched marks and table filters are not included in that settings link.
