Start with a time budget you can keep
Set the playback speed and daily watching minutes on your result. A playlist with eight source hours at 2× needs four watching hours. At 30 minutes per watching day, that is eight watching days.
Watching days and calendar days are different. If you only watch on Mondays and Thursdays, those eight sessions span several calendar weeks. The dated planner shows both counts and the finish date.
Choose the first date and weekdays
Open Build a dated watch schedule and choose a start date. The start date is included if its weekday is selected. Uncheck weekdays when you will not watch. At least one weekday must be selected.
The schedule follows unwatched, counted entries in the current original range. Table sorting and search filters do not change the study order. Mark finished entries first if you want to plan only what remains.
- Calculate the playlist and choose a range if needed.
- Set speed and daily minutes.
- Choose the start date and watching weekdays.
- Press Update schedule and inspect the first few sessions.
Long videos can cross a day boundary
A 90-minute video at 1× with a 30-minute daily budget occupies three watching days. The plan records source segments 00:00–30:00, 30:00–60:00 and 60:00–90:00 rather than placing the whole video into one oversized day.
Resume links open YouTube at the beginning of the relevant source segment. The display keeps the original video number, so you can find the same entry when watching manually. Export schedule CSV for all generated dates and timestamps.
Check a deadline honestly
An optional finish-by target counts the selected watching days from the start through the deadline, including both endpoints. It calculates the daily minutes needed at your current speed.
If the required time exceeds 24 hours on a watching day, the planner says the target cannot fit. It does not quietly reduce the number and call the deadline achievable. Add days, move the deadline, or reduce the range. Allow additional time for breaks and exercises.
