Durations and start times are different

A chapter lasting 02:00 starts at 00:00. If the next chapter lasts 05:30, the third chapter starts at 07:30. Use mm:ss or hh:mm:ss for durations. The tool generates start times without uploading or editing a video.

Publishing chapters is a separate action in your YouTube description. Check YouTube’s chapter requirements before publishing them.
